Metal Blade’s Behemoth took to the stage with labelmates Lightning Swords of Death in LA in mid-January, unleashing their well-refined death metal sound to a sold-out crowd.
Shooting notes: This was another difficult shoot because of the House of Blues’ lackluster lighting (business as usual). I shot with the Pentax K20D and Nikon D700 with 2.8 lenses wide open to get enough light for the correct exposures, but it was still hard to fight with the overbearing red lights and frequent use of strobes.
